one more mountain to climb...

from Lisa (http://kukurugyalane.com)

I have one more final. I have completed the final for my missions class. It feels so good and it was very stressful to get to this point- it is days like these when it sucks to have only one computer (Dennis had homework to do today too so we were competing.) Plus Dennis was grumpy with me because I used my cell phone to call someone in the hospital. The point is that I used "our minutes" and not that I called someone who is sick. It's really silly- we have over 700 minutes, including rollover, but if I use any of them Dennis has a heart attack because he is so afraid of being charged. Whatever. I have one more mountain- one more final exam due Thursday night.

Dennis is officially allergic to BenGay- he has this huge reaction on the area where I put the cream. I called the number on the tube and they are going to (at least) refund us the money for the cream. But we did make a late night trip to the store to pick up some benedryl- we bought the cream and the pills and it is kind of funny because Dennis is hyper sensitive to anything that makes you drowsy. He never takes medicine so it took about 10 minutes for him to be just zonked by 2 benedryls! So now he is sleeping while I am watching a spanish comedy (La Hora de Derbez) and translating my brother-in-law's resume into english.

Tomorrow we are going to the Endocrinologist's office (yay!) and I am trying not to be nervous. I feel like my diabetes is better than it was in October and even if it isn't, I am doing well considering the stress and business that I have had. I just have to be confident with my doctor- she is giving me medical advice but I am always afraid that she is judging me like I am a "bad diabetic". But she doesn't have diabetes and I really am doing better than I was earlier in the year. Grrrr.....
