Regañona

I don't like regional Mexican music at all (and neither does Dennis) but today I actually listened to the lyrics of a band that played "Sabado Gigantes"- a spanish variety show- and they sung a pretty ridiculous song called La Regañona- (una chava Regañona)- Dennis explains that this is a love song about a guy who loves his girl even though she is always grumpy. So, even though I hate that type of music, I like the word and I think it applies to me. Soy la gringa regañona.
