$14 in pennies

I have not tossed one penny since our marriage and today my husband, who works at a bank, finally brought home rolls to put the pennies in so that we can take them to the bank. We counted (well, I counted) and we have fourteen dollars in pennies. That's a meal at a fast food restaurant! (It's also other more useful things but I'm on a diet so when I see things like milkshakes on TV I get hungry and bitter).
And I am with the sniffles- seriously almost went through like a box of kleenex today- estoy llena de mocos- and my nose hurts even though I am using the soft, anti-bacterial kind. Sooo, Dennis finally said "Don't we have anything that you can take so that I can sleep and you can stop coughing and sniffling and sneezing?" (It was his response to my asking him to take me to the drug store) I reluctantly admitted that we have some dayquil. It won't help me sleep but I feel so much better already. A few weeks ago, I was making fun of him for not taking medicine for his cold and now I am getting a taste of my own medicine.
I also skipped class even though I had a paper due in one class and a presentation in another- I actually wanted to go to the class that is about Martin Luther because there is a Catholic in that class and I wanted to see if she thought he was just a complete heretic. I'm praying now that my teachers will be forgiving- I did call and email to explain that I was feeling dizzy and tired and flu-y. Tomorrow I will try to be more productive. Keep those prayers comin'!!!

Point of the day- take the pills and save the pennies.

Hope you get better from your cold Erin. Still in our prayers. Good luck at school. Hope everything was al right at school. Hey, it would be unfair if they got mad at you at school, as you were kind of sick.
