Easter

Easter already. I kicked it off by making a real dinner last night (still haven't done the dishes though...) as my version of the seder (we aren't jewish so it doesn't really matter that we didn't follow any liturgy at all). And today I read the account of Jesus' burial from Matthew, at the University's Good Friday service. Dennis brought home one of those really cheap easter baskets that you buy for little kids and he is eating the candy (which is just fine because I don't want any.) And I watched about 2 minutes of the Pope, excited that I could kind of understand him a little, because of my Spanish (He speaks Italian right?)

Anyway, my prayer request is for a university professor who is also important in our church family. He was diagnosed with cancer this week, in his liver, pancreas, and kidney and they are testing to see if it has spread. It's heartbreaking because no one knows exactly what "cancer" means.
