random...

I have new glasses (namebrand glasses! we can afford to upgrade!), a new haircut with highlights, and I haven't really done much else. Still trying to be healthier but it is so hard to keep motivated. Sometimes you just want to eat. I am working on keeping a food diary though- something that I absolutely have been avoiding- because I really do want to change and be healthier. It is a lot of prayer- I could eat bowls of lucky charms cereal etc. but what if that makes the difference between me and a heart attack or me and having a baby?
And I have been a little overwhelmed lately with school. I'm procrastinating and not doing my best and Dennis is not helping because he started threatening to give me a "nanny" again unless i clean the apartment (we are not getting into the logistics of why he thinks that it is my sole responsibility to have the babies, get a college degree, and keep his apartment super clean, among other things...)
So I guess I am just praying for energy and motivation and also to be a little easier on myself- I'm doing a pretty good job with things and I know I am my worst critic.

Hey Erin,

I know how you feel about trying to eat healthier, I'm struggling also. I'm just trying to think it will help us in the future when we want kids. Plus it'll help my health also. Keep at it hun, it'll pay off.

Hey, maybe we can organize like a contest? It would be motivating for everyone who wants to join. Like setting goals of eating healthier and doing some type of physical activity, even at least walking for 30 minutes? I'm just getting the idea from a contest at among several employees at my workplace.

Let me know if we organize it and I would love to join.
