God is good.

How else can I title this?

Part 1 of this, or the prologue, is last week and me freaking out because I had a lot of papers due for one of my classes. Dennis also had homework and so we were mutually stressed out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiiNpx2BcXE -here's another link to this video.
It's a neat video actually. You see a married couple in college very lovingly frustrated. And you get to hear Dennis's cute accent (pardon his taking of the Lord's name in vain- he watches too much South Park).

Anyway, that was our halloween week. no little children but lots of "eating of candy because I'm stressed and studying)

And then this Saturday, we got our reward. I took Dennis to the "Jars of Clay" concert (Christian rock band. They are pretty good. Better than Switchfoot concert we went to in 2004).

How do I title this blog entry? We had a hard, stressful week. But we pulled through and things are better. God is good.

News of interest:

-Saddam's trial is finally over

-Election day is tomorrow, which is nice because I've been getting mail and phone calls in English and in Spanish, telling me how to vote.

-Dennis' brother is still very sick and still very much needs prayers. Today, in a Bible study, we talked about whether or not some people's prayers are more "heard" by God or not. (We were studying Hebrews 5). It was suggested that a pastor's prayers are perhaps more heard. I think this is retarded. I don't care who you are or what your job is, your prayers are heard equally by God who loves all. So, if I ask for prayers it's because I believe that prayer works. If I only believed that the Pope, for example, had the best prayers, then asking for prayers from everyone else would be a waste of time.
-My brother's girlfriend is having a baby. It's due in June. It's weird because I don't know how to tell people that. He's 21. It's just weird. So he and his girlfriend and their baby need prayers.
-I am addicted to California roll sushi. That's news.
