One down... (and other news)

I've spent the last 2 weeks or so hard-core writing the paper that is supposed to complete one of the classes I took in June. It coincides with Dennis's always being on the computer so we pulled out one of the older computers for me to use. (Windows 98 old.) The bright side is that we invested in a network thingy so that we can a)both use the internet at the same time and b) use it wireless.

I have finished the paper for Isaiah that I was supposed to turn in by 4pm today. (i'm blogging at 5:30 but i really did turn it in on time. I'm just still simmering on it.)
True to form, it was about 2 pages shorter than I would have liked. But it's over and done with and I have to accept whatever grade I get. Time to move on to the next paper, due about the same time next month (So I may or may not be "reading" for that one while on vacation in vegas?)
The point is that my mind is going through it's obligatory melt, which it does after I finish something major. This may or may not mean more stupid myspace survey bulletins.
And by the way, it's so hot. Yes, even in Malibu, it is hot. I miss SoCal winters.

We have been really boring this month, not really having time to go to the movies or anything. I have been able to go to the campus gym with one of our neighbors, which is actually fun. (not this week though, as I was too busy with my paper.) We went to a wedding last week- it was sweet because it was the first time that the couple had ever kissed (they really wanted to wait for EVERYTHING) and they washed each other's feet in their ceremony, as Jesus did for his disciples. It was our first wedding to attend together as a married couple and it was a sweet reminder of how good it is to be married.

Dennis's brother has officially started chemo and radiation treatment- he's going through a rough time but we are all reminding ourselves that chemotherapy is rough and that it will get worse before it gets better.
And "La Migra" (INS) cashed our check for the removal of the green card conditions. We take that as a good sign- if they are taking our money, they must be approving our application.

Hey Erin, just saying hello. LOL@me,myself, and I's comment about the kiss, funny! :) I hope Dennis's brother's treatment doesn't make him too sick, but like you said it'll get worse before better, but it will get better, and that's what you just keep remembering! *Hugs*
