the single life...(and a blogging carnival)

For all of those of you in the US....

We have cingular. And I've got no bars...

It's the first week down of my "not really" single life. I celebrated tonight by finishing that Boca wine and eating hot pockets.

anyway, what I've learned from blogging (question from Blogging Chicks)
I've learned that I can't go for very long without writing about what's on my mind and I've learned that women all over the world often relate to what I've got to say. I've also learned that it is so very possible to make good friends that you never meet in person- it's something to be skeptical about but I really consider my blog buddies to be genuine and I've been friends with girls like Sarah, Miriam, and Luciana since 2003! I've also learned that I can be quite funny, when I put my mind to it...

I found you through Blogging Chicks. I agree with you about the "friend-thing." It's amazing how much I enjoy my 'conversations' with my blogging buddies and look forward to seeing their comments on my posts. Your blog is so colorful and alive. I want to know how to spruce mine up a bit. I was on Blogger for awhile and everytime I tried something, my blog went POOF and would disappear. Now, I'm a bit apprehensive to change anything at Typepad. But, you have motivated me to try some additions to my side bars.

thanks- if you notice, the reason why my blog looks so pretty is because I'm posting at 4:30am!! But it's so nice to see compliments! Keep them coming! I covet compliments!!!

I can only say the same. You learn a lot about other countries, lifestyles and people. But the most important thing to me is, that we are like a big family wherever we are coming from. And when I read that one of my blogfriend had a Kangaroo in her garden and the other met a bear, it's not anymore strange to me because I only met a cow eventually, lol !

I agree with the comments of these ladies. Blogging besides other nice aspects lets you learn of other different lifestyles, traditions, etc. That is what is called "globalization".

Hey, loved my doll you made of me. You made it prettier than me, lol.

That is the way I look when I don't go to work. Good job on the doll and I appreciate the time you took to made it. I loved the doll.

Thanks for passing by my blog and leaving your nice comments. I appreciate it a lot.

Take care.

Great you have Cingular (AT&T). Hey, what a confusion they explained that at the end it's going from AT&T to AT&T, lol. Thanks for sharing the info. I did not know about those fusions among those Companies, etc.

Have a great Sunday,

Gabriela. :)

Yes, 20 years later, AT&T is now AT&T. Isn't deregulation wonderful?

Here from BC Carnival. Have a great week.

Yes, writing out what's on our minds is so liberating. And finding others with like minds is truly rewarding.

So you don't ever wonder if your "blog buddies" are really demented old vagrants using the internet from the local library?

guess that's just me...

(read that however you like.)

Wow - your blog title should be "little miss popular" - I had to scroll through a ton of comments to get here! :-)

You really are funny - I love reading your blog, I love that we met (how did we anyway???) and I love that we got married in Vegas within two weeks of eachother lol.
