Friday's Feast (Finally)

Today is Dennis's last day officially as a banker. From now on, he is an entrepreneur. (He has been working on something really exciting that I've been dying to blog about but he's not ready for the publicity.)

This week's Friday Feast and the last Friday of the summer (school starts Monday- last semester of Greek and first semester of Hebrew).

Appetizer
Say there’s a book written about your life. Who would you want to narrate the audio version?

Dame Judi Dench, hands down. I need a rich, classy old Brit to narrate. But not to play me in the movie version.

Soup
Take the letters from your favorite kind of nut and write a sentence. (Example: Perhaps every avenue needs understanding today.)

Can Anyone Sew Hems Even Wet? (I actually love candied walnuts on greek salads but that is another sentence - oh Pine Nuts are good too!)

Salad
If you could go back in time and spend one week in another decade, which decade would you choose?

The 90's. I wouldn't go to far.

Main Course
Name a song that brings back memories for you.

"Angel" by Sarah Maclachlan. I cry almost every time.

Dessert
Do you prefer to wash your hands in cold water or warm water?

Warm is best but I'm usually rushing so I use cold. Am I the only one who sings "Happy birthday" to myself in order to be self-assured that I'm actually washing my hands for about 30 sec?

Happy Friday.
Judi Dench was a great choice as your narrator. I picked a European also.

Have a lovely weekend.
