it's a late night thought...

instead of studying...

I just want to say a couple of things:
a)
Jennifer Love Hewitt is inaffective as a salesperson for underwear. Granted, she represents something a bit more realistic than Heidi Klum. But they have these TV ads where she's doing things like rocking out on a motorcycle, wearing like leather. And It doesn't work for me. I think I just think she's annoying and so I'm not giving her enough credit. I mean, who would be a better choice? I guess I just prefer it when the models advertising underwear aren't famous. Because do I really believe Jennifer Love Hewitt actually wears Hanes?

b)Alec Baldwin. He's a funny guy and I know it is not my place to judge. I just keep thinking- the girl is eleven. and now everyone knows that a)her parents are both freaks and b)her dad thinks she's a pig. I would not want to be in her shoes during adolescence. I mean everyone knows. The cool girls know. The cute guy she has a crush on knows. Her teachers know. Even the school janitor knows. That must suck. I mean, I know kids can be annoying. I was an annoying, arrogant, self-centered child. I had moments of treating my parents like crap. But if my Dad had called ME a pig? It's just damaging. So Baldwin and Bassinger should be prepared. Therapy will come out of this. (Is it worth it? to use your child as a media tool in order to gain custody?)

yes, and I've seen "Mommy Dearest" (the movie-biopic about Joan Crawford where she goes ballistic and screams "no more wire hangers!!!") I'm not a parent so I don't know how easy it is to go ballistic with your kids. But come on, people.

Yea, I've heard the tape recording that Alec left for his daughter's answering machine. I was like WTF?!

Hello Erin! Thank you for visiting my blog, I appreciate it. Love yours! Thanks for the fun read, and I agree about Alec. After listening, I could definitely see why his daughter would avoid his calls, perceived or otherwise! If my Dad talked to me like that it would definitely be hurtful, but for it all to be public....sheesh!

1 - Jennifer Love Hewitt, my husband and I agreed, is one of the most forgettable actresses ever. I don't know why, I don't hate her or think she's a terrible actress or anything, but I am fairly certain she could walk up to me on the street and I wouldn't know her from Adam.

2 - Alec Baldwin is a terrible human being for ranting to his daughter like that, but I personally think that both of them are just as responsible. Neither one of them should be pitting their daughter against the other parent, involving a child in a divorce is bad enough, but using that child to get back at your former spouse is even worse.

When I was little my mom yelled at me and said she wished I was never born. I think she was going through PMS at the time. I forgive her now.
